This 8×10 oil painting is for sale for $125 (plus $25 for the weathered barnwood frame it is currently mounted in, or a solid, smooth, black 1″ frame)  I regret that this is not exactly the final image.  After posting, I added a wispy mist of smoke coming from an invisible cigarette belonging to the cowboy on the left, along with some improvement to the detail on the picture and especially the faces of both cowboys.  Detailed photos are available if you’re interested in the painting.  Shipping in the states is included.  Satisfaction guaranteed.

Riding with a friend.  It doesn’t get better, unless you’re riding with three friends – that’s as good as it gets!

This painting is an oil, done on canvas board with three coats of gesso to smooth the canvas texture, then three or four coats of varnish with Gamvar.  The background is from a photo I took at the G Bar Ranch in Big Oak Flat, CA, courtesy of the owner Joan E.
