The reference photo for this painting was taken on one of our Summer Family Vacations.  On this trip we stayed in Meadow Vista on Lake Combie at a VRBO.  They had a swimming pool, separate jacuzzi, a dock with LOTS of perch (perfect for the Grandkids), and the owner took us water skiing and touring the river that fed the lake.  Obviously, Ethan loved the fishing and Aubrey, who was only 4, caught her first fish!  Another great adventure added to our summer escapes!
