Oil on Hardboard Painted March 2021

The reference photo for this painting was taken on a short hike from Bridleveil Falls towards El Capitan in Yosemite National Park in May of 2019. It had just stopped raining an hour or so earlier and there was a bit of mist in the air. The clouds were moving quickly and the view changed constantly. It was like watching a movie on Discovery Channel! Absolutely Beautiful. We have the opportunity to go to Yosemite often and it NEVER disappoints. The same sites offer different vistas everytime!
