A close friend who's family members are huge CU Buffalo fans asked for a painting of a buffalo. After doing several studies of different bears, she settled on a black and white bust of a buffalo in the cold so that you could see his breath.  I haven’t done many black and white paintings but this one is probably my favorite. It’s fun to paint with just two colors and try to achieve a realistic image.
